Golden Artist Colors QOR Watercolor Introductory 12 Set
Availability: In stock
This Golden Artist Colors QOR Watercolor Paint features an advanced archival, water-soluble binder, Aquazol, that supports greater pigment loading than traditional watercolor binders. This means the paint provides more pigment strength and vivid depth of color in every brushstroke, while retaining the best qualities of a traditional watercolor. This binder, Aquazol, is used within the conservation community for painting restoration, and is more flexible and less brittle than traditional watercolor binders, offering improved flexibility and adhesion. This vibrant, intense color flows well, produces incredibly smooth transitions and stays brilliant even after it dries. It also has excellent resolubility in water and great glazing qualities.
Due to a component shortage, QOR Watercolor Sets were recently on back order. We recently began filling open orders and are happy to report that all open orders have been fulfilled. Commencing with sets shipping January 1st, 2015, we have also made an adjustment to the contents of this QOR Introductory 12 set. Some artists have noted that our French Ultramarine Blue was more violet than they expected. We replaced the French Ultramarine Blue with Ultramarine Blue in the twelve color set to provide a selection that will be more useful in most artists' palettes.
The Golden Artist Colors QOR Watercolor Introductory 12 Set includes nickel azo yellow, hansa yellow medium, quinacridone gold deep, quinacridone magenta, permanent alizarin crimson, pyrrole red light, cerulean blue chromium, viridian green, burnt sienna, payne's grey, yellow ochre, and now ultramarine blue.
