Friday November 20
10am to 1pm in The Limelight Gallery
Presented by Michael Hammer

Panel Painting is one of the hottest trends in the art materials world.  Find out why these pre-Renaissance surfaces are completely archival, easy to use, and a pleasure to paint on.  Ampersand Art Supply, a 15 year old company, pioneered this panel painting revolution through its’ innovative grounds applied to hardbord surfaces. The lecture will include working on aquabord, claybord, gessobord, and pastelbord.

Michael Hammer is an independent manufacturers representative who has been working in the field for almost 40 years. His company began representing Ampersand Art Supply 14 years ago as he gained feedback from artists who said their panels were clearly superior supports to paint on.
