"Golden Digital Grounds turn just about any relatively flat surface into a printable surface. These mediums can be used on acrylic skins, metal, specialty papers, and more. Printed images come out clear and crisp, with great color. While almost any porous, flat surface can be run through an inkjet printer - including off-the-shelf papers made for printmaking and watercolor - the resulting images are frequently dull, faint, or blurry. This is caused by an overly absorbent substrate: theres no way to encapsulate or prevent the ink from spreading outward or penetrating too far into the surface."
