 The Limelight Gallery
These drawings were made in Craig Dongoski’s class at GSU.
They were created by dividing/cutting the original image into 48 squares.
The original was unknown to the students and was verbally described one square at a time. Each student’s drawing was produced by following these instructions.
Each student’s accompanying text was arrived at by taking note of a recitation of a drawing essay. The notes were recited in a cycle so that a mutation occurred.
The final presentation was a re-write that describes drawing via the senses minus sight.
