Sewn onto the bottom half of the mat is a sectioned brush holder made 100% cotton cloth. There are 12 slots for brushes ranging from 2 in. to 5 in. wide. Just insert each brush handle into the sleeve and roll the mat up. The cloth will help keep from moving and being damaged while transporting from one place to another.
